The small hours that mean the most, don't mean anything. How can I explain this? You know they happened, and I know they happened, but if we don't acknowledge it, it did not happen at all.

If the past isn't actively changing how we act then it didn't happen. Isn't that the point? If neither of us reacts to my hand on yours, or your shallow morning breaths next to me, then they do not mean anything and I have been lied to.

On the bright side, turns out I'm not an alcoholic.
