Visited my grandfather's grave, great talks with daddy, drove at two thirty in the morning with the world feeling vaguely unreal and made of cotton candy. I was sick all last week and on vacation all this week, hardly an exemplary employee, and yet I logged on this morning (an hour after my court appointment for my transgression last month) to find out that I've been named Instructor of the Month.
